We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team at Senior Material Europe in Sweden. Together, we are building advanced manufacturing capabilities in Europe and developing solutions that make a difference – both today and for the future.The RoleAs an Accountant, you will support the daily operations of our Finance department and contribute to reliable accounting, timely financial closings and effective financial reporting.You will work closely with the Finance Manager and the wider Finance team, gaining exposure to different areas of accounting and financial management. The role combines routine accounting tasks with analytical work, budgeting and audit-related activities.We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for their work. You should enjoy working with numbers, identifying discrepancies and ensuring that financial information is accurate and delivered on time.Job Responsibilities Handle daily invoice processing and accounting transactions. Contribute to monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring deadlines are met. Perform bank reconciliations, manual journal entries and accruals. Assist in preparing the 2027 budget and analysing the 2026 budget. Prepare and provide financial documentation and supporting materials for audits. Review financial information, identify discrepancies and support accurate financial reporting. Maintain organised accounting records and ensure that financial documentation is complete and up to date.
