The position offers significant autonomy, exposure to senior management and potential progression towards a Head of Finance role. Key Responsibilities • Finance Operations: Manage day-to-day finance activities across Luxembourg and UK entities, including AP/AR, payments, bank reconciliations, treasury and cash management.• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly management reports, support budgeting, cash flow forecasting and financial modelling, and monitor project expenditure.• Accounting Oversight: Coordinate external accountants, oversee month-end closing activities, review accounting deliverables and manage intercompany reconciliations.• Procurement & Cost Control: Oversee supplier payments, procurement processes, expenditure approvals and financial commitments.• Finance Systems & Processes: Implement and improve financial tools, reporting systems, internal controls and operational procedures.• Grants & Contracts: Monitor grant-related expenditure, prepare supporting financial documentation and track reporting requirements.• Business Support: Work closely with senior management, operational teams and the external CFO to provide financial insights and support business decisions. Your Profile • 6–8 years of hands-on, end-to-end finance experience, covering accounting, treasury, procurement, financial reporting, financial modelling and systems implementation.• Experience in Luxembourg is required.• Experience within an international organisation, SME or startup, where you have been directly involved in the full finance function.• Strong operational accounting background, with the ability to independently handle financial transactions, cash management, reporting and month-end activities.
