Proactively anticipates customer and business needs and incorporates those needs into proper product plans. The PD handles a scope of responsibilities that span product strategy and vision via product marketing and customer interaction to be the ultimate product champion and owner. As the product owner, the PD is accountable for ensuring that output from the various internal support groups meet the market requirements first set forth from product management. This position will maintain a very tight unified relationship with the associated Technical Product Director and close collaborative relationships with internal groups such as National directors, marketing, sales and education, training and support • Product Strategies • Business Development • Product Management Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Management – 70% Serve as the product owner and champion for a larger product line or several smaller product lines, and be accountable for product strategy, vision, and roadmap. Represent the “Voice of the Customer” internally, making sure customer needs are captured and built into product requirements and plans. Serve as the “Face of the Product” externally, engaging with customers and stakeholders to communicate product direction and value. Proactively anticipate customer and business needs and translate them into product plans and priorities. Keep product direction aligned with corporate and business strategic plans and objectives. Define market requirements and make sure output from internal support groups meets those requirements. Maintain a closely unified partnership with the associated Technical Product Director to coordinate product strategy and delivery. Collaborate with National Directors, marketing, sales, education, training, and support teams to drive product positioning, launch readiness, and adoption.
