Position: Financial Crime, AML & KYC Analyst Type: Contract Compensation: $75–$100/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 15 hours/week Role Responsibilities Adjudicate transaction-monitoring alerts using alert packets, KYC/CDD profiles , and transaction history. Document dispositions and draft SAR narratives as needed. Review client onboarding and KYC packets for completeness. Identify and document cross-document discrepancies and produce remediation lists. Resolve complex beneficial-ownership structures. Apply 10%/25% UBO thresholds effectively. Adjudicate sanctions and adverse-media hits. Provide short rationales for true matches, false positives, or escalations. Triage supervisory alert queues. Adjudicate card fraud and disputes. Assess flagged communications against trade records. Qualifications Must-Have 3+ years hands-on in AML , financial-crime, KYC/CDD , sanctions screening, fraud/disputes, or transaction surveillance. Working knowledge of FinCEN , FATF , OFAC frameworks, and SAR/CDD documentation standards . Ability to write clear, defensible rationales. Preferred CAMS/ACAMS or CFE certification. Experience in enhanced due diligence, entity unwinding, SQL , or transaction analytics. Background in fintech or payments. Assessment A timed exercise involving a mock alert packet, disposition and SAR narrative , a KYC packet discrepancy and remediation list, and a batch of sanctions hits adjudication with rationale.
